Note: You will need to grab your email account settings from CPanel > Email Accounts > 'Set up mail client' or 'more' > 'Set up mail client', this will provide you with two settings Non-SSL and SSL. The SSL settings secures your connections to the server in case you're going to access your email accounts from a public location or if you find your account compromised more than once.

2. Select the email account you want to edit and click 'Change'
3. From here you will be able to change the basic settings of your email account, such as, Incoming and Outgoing Server/Hostname, Protocol (IMAP or POP3), username and password. In order to edit settings like port number and secure it with SSL, you will need to click 'More Settings'.
4. In this window you will have access to 4 Tabs, General, Outgoing Server, Connection and Advanced. The most important are 'Outgoing Server' and 'Advanced'.
