This guide will show you how to connect to the UKHost4u VPN. Before you connect, you must have a username and password for your VPN account.
First, hit CTRL + S.
Next, Search VPN and hit “Change Virtual Private Networks” for Windows 10.
Now, select “Add New VPN Connection” and you should see the following:
Here you need to enter the following details:
Connection name: whatever you want (something memorable)
Server name: mikrotik.ukhost4u.com
Type of Sign-in: L2TP/IPSec with Pre-Shared Key
Pre-Shared Key: the pre shared key (ask staff member)
Username: Your VPN username
Password: Your VPN Password
Then simply click connect, and you’re online.
First, click the start button and search for “VPN”.
Then select “Set up a virtual private network (VPN) connection”.
You should now see something like this:
Enter the following:
User name: Your VPN Username
Password: Your VPN Password
Domain: mikrotik.ukhost4u.com
Now, click “Properties”.
Scroll to “L2TP/IPSec” and enter the same details as in the Windows 10 guide above.
