How to recover 3cx admin password on SolusVM

  1. Sign in to SolusVM ( https://solus.ukhost4u.com/admincp/ )
  2. Search for the 3cx instance and click on it
  3. Select "Root/Admin pass" to reset the VPS login details
  4. Access the VPS through SSH and go to /var/3cxpbx/Instance1/Bin
  5. Run the command 'sudo -u phonesystem /usr/sbin/3CXBackupCmd --file=/var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Backups/backup.zip'
  6. Go to /var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Backups/ and unzip the backup.zip file (unzip backup.zip)
  7. open the .xml file with a text editor and search for "WEBSERVERPASS"
