First, you need to Login to your Plesk account. (Don’t know how to login to your Plesk account? Click here)

Once logged in to your Plesk account, go to to “Websites & Domains” and choose which domain you wish to create a Password-Protected Directory.

Locate and click on the “Password-Protected Directories”.

Click on “Add Protected Directory”.

Enter the Directory Name on the field and the Title of the protected area then click on “OK” button.

Note that the directory name is required.

You will then see the newly created directory. Click on the directory name to add users who will be able to access it.

Once inside the password-protected directory, you can click on the “Add a User” then enter the username and password you wish to use. Click on “OK” button to continue.

When you are done, you will see the user you have created on the below part of the screen.

If you wanted to remove a user, tick the box right before the username and click the “Remove” button.
