What is cPanel Autoresponder?

An Autoresponder is a feature within cPanel that allows you to configure automatic response messages in reply to emails that are coming in to a specific email account. This feature is very useful when you are unavailable or out on holidays and don’t have access to your email account.

To create an Autoresponder, first you need to login to your cPanel account.

Locate the category “Emails” from the cPanel Home Screen and click on “Autoresponders”.

You will be redirected to the Autoresponders screen and will see your managed domains from the drop down list, the Add Autoresponder button and the list of current autoresponders that has been configured.

From this screen, choose the domain that your email account is using and click on the Add Autoresponder button.

Once you have clicked the Add Autoresponder button, you will be redirected to the Modify/Add Autoresponder page.

From there you will see the fields you need to complete as a requirement to configure the autoresponder for your email account. When you are done, just click on Create/Modify button at the bottom.

You will be prompted with a confirmation that the autoresponder has been created successfully. Just click on Go Back to return to the Autoresponder main screen.

After you have added the new autoresponder, you will then see it on the list of Current Autoresponders from the main screen.
